| These 14K and pearl cluster drop earrings are like ripe bunches of grapes. They hang 2 inches and have great movement. The diameter of the pearl cluster is 20 mm and the solid bar is 15mm long (between the wire and the pearl cluster). They also have a great modernist, atomic look and remind me of a lot of the lighting fixtures from that era. Interestingly and strangely, these pierced earrings close from back to front. Strange, because this type of ear fitting is typically seen on Georgian and early Victorian earrings of the 1700 and 1800s - a time when women had maids who dressed them. They could however be changed if desired. Unusual and versatile pair of earrings. | |||||||
