| This sterling silver ring is by famed mid-century furniture designer Hugh Acton. Acton who studied at Cranbrook started producing furniture in the 1950s. Examples of his work can be found on 1stdibs.com. Now in his 80's he is reintroducing some of his furniture through Design Within Reach and is also making silver jewelry. Truly, wearable art these bracelets and rings are miniature sculptures and no two are alike. Great dimensionality and movement, these are statement making pieces of jewelry. This particular ring is about a 7 1/4. The top of the ring is 1 1/2 inches by 5/8th. Due to the thickness of the wire gauge there is only a slight amount of give.
