Pair of tables with clean lines that can work in almost any setting and be used in many ways. From the Shanxi Province and made of Tieli wood circa 18th to 19th century. Each table measures 20 3/4" wide, 16 1/2" deep, and 34 1/2" high.
Original window frame with black and red lacquer in good condition. There are three panels of lattice work. It can be used as a faux window for a room, a real frame for a house, or simply as a stunning wall piece. The width is 79 inches, the height is 62 inches.
The character translation is "Gong Yuan", a title given to the champion of a nationwide literary contest held during the Qing Dynasty by the Emperor Jianqing, (c. 1802). Made of fir wood with dimensions of 82 x 2 x 31 1/2. Unique piece, and in excellent condition.
