The early traditional style of this piece is evident from many numerous pottery excavated from burial sites in Shanxi Province. It is made of pine wood and used to store items that are related to buddhist practice such as incense and yellow paper. Qing Dynasty, c. 17th-18th Century 65 inches wide, 25 1/2 inches deep, and 71 1/2 inches high.
