These are two very detailed silver plate pheasants, male and female, that feature movable wings. These birds display the correct features for the appropriate gender. Notice the detail carving work of the feathers and also in the feet. The birds measure 3 x 10-3/4 x 2-3/8. Made by Wallace circa 1850-1870.

This delicate basket with moveable handle dates back to 1860 and originates in Moscow. Notice the intricate flower patterns that repeat on each side and the four balls for the feet. This Sterling Silver basket weight approximately 7.46 Troy ounces. With the handle extended up the basket measures 4-1/4 inches tall by 4 inches by 4 inches. A beautiful treasure that you can fill with other treasures!

This spectacular large German 800 silver swing handle wedding basket has beautiful detailing and dates between 1890 and 1920. What's even more unusual about it is that it has a custom-made glass liner that is in perfect condition. Slightly ovoid in shape, the elaborate openwork detailing with cabuchon panels shows a man and a woman in the garden on each side. This beautiful German sterling silver miniature sleigh, pulled by a reindeer, serves as a salt cellar due to the glass insert which, incidentally, is devopid of chips. The sleigh is stamped with English import marks when it was imported to Great Britain. They are hard to photograph clearly, but there are the initials E.T.B. in cartouche, the rampant lion, the letter S, and a leopard's head. This fantastic set of 6 sterling silver hunt cups are a very unusual form of drinking vessel. Used specifically for tailgating at steeplechases, usually at Hunt Valley, MD, these hunt cups were made by the Baltimore, Maryland silversmith A.G. Schultz, whose distinctive mark (BY HAND) is stamped on the bottom. The cups weigh on average 8.10 troy ounces. This American Victorian sterling silver four-piece child's set was made by William B. Kerr & Co. (Newark, NJ, 1885-1906. An extreme rarity in its completeness, the set consists of a plate, a creamer, a porridge or cereal bowl, and a mug. In 20 years, this is the first complete set we have seen. This very rare circa 1880 Aesthetic period cigar lighter was crafted by Gorham of mixed metals---sterling silver and bronze.It has a squat globular form with a bronze cast dragon handle, a ribbed conical lid and upturned spout affixed to the lid with a chain.
