This highly collectible sterling silver mint julep cup was made during the presidential term of Lyndon B. Johnson (1963-1969) from a nineteenth century design by Mark Scearce, Shelbyville, Kentucky. LBJ cups are very desirable and this one has no monogram. Dimensions: 3-3/4 in. high x 3-1/8 in. in diameter at the rim. Weight is approximately 4.63 troy ounces.

This highly collectible sterling silver mint julep cup was made by Mark Scearce during the presidential term of Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953-1961) from a nineteenth century design. These Eisenhower cups are very desirable and this one has no monogram. Dimensions: 3-3/4 in. high x 3-1/8 in. in diameter at the rim. Weight is 4.758 troy ounces.

This is a slightly taller one, 4 inches in height, and 3 inches in diameter at the top and 2-1/2 inches in diameter at the base. It weights 3.47 troy ounces and has interesting banding at the top and bottom, for those who'd like something a little different.

This 800 continental silver cow creamer is actually a bull! Made in Germany, the bull measures 5-3/4 inches in length x 2-3/8 inches high at the withers and 3-3/4 inches high at the tail. Weight is 11.83 troy ounces. The cream is poured into the vessel by lifting the lid on his back and it comes out via a spout at his poll, or top of his head. This would make an unusual addition to your herd.

We have 3 of these handsome S. Kirk & Son vintage sterling silver mint julep cups on hand, and each one may be purchased for $295 apiece. The venerable Baltimore firm made these anywhere from circa 1932 to 1961. Each cup weighs approximately 3.9 troy ounces and measures 4-4/5 inches tall x 3-1/4 inches in diameter at the top x 2-2/12 inches in diameter at the base. Each cup has applied banding, and there is no monogram.

With beading at both the rim and the base, these cups are classic copies of a 19th century Kentucky design. They measure 4 inches tall x 3-1/8 inches in diameter at the rim and 2-1/2 inches in diameter at the base. They are made by the Chicago Silver Company and bear its mark and the sterling stamp. We have 5 of these beautiful sterling silver mint julep cups made in 1946 from an 1850s design of a cup by the St. Louis silversmith Louis Jaccard. They can be purchased as a set of 5 or individually for $400 apiece.
