This hand painted Nippon porcelain cobalt blue floral plate is 10" in diameter. There is gold wear around the edge of the plate. I am not sure if it was meant to look like that or not.
The hallmark on the revers reflects the country of origin in Chinese characters. This plate is circa 1884-1890.
