This Gothic dragon (serpent)cross pendant is 2" long by1 1/8th" wide. It is hallmarked "925" on the reverse at the top. It weighs 13.4 grams. The cross and dragon (serpent)theme is often used among the Celts, Romans, ans as Quetzacoatal, the Winged Dragon Serpent among the Aztecs. This perhaps symbolizes the battle between St. George and the Dragon on Dragon Hill near Uffington in England. |
