Beautiful vase by Charles Greber, from around 1900, bearing his hand incised signature (rather than the more usual stamped signature), in excellent condition. This vase, which is 5 1/2" high, is illustrated in the Greber exhibition catalogue of September 94 (Les Greber, Une Dynastie des Artistes), page 163, #133.

Oversize French Art Pottery (Art Nouveau/Arts and Crafts) vase, circa 1910-1920, by Gilbert Metenier. This three-handled vase in excellent original unrestored condition measures 13 1/2" in height and close to 8" at its widest. It is signed with Metenier's inscribed mark on the bottom. An exceptional piece by this rare potter born in 1876 and active until 1939, when he destroyed his molds. He is specially known for his "Metenier blue glaze". French Art Nouveau three-handled vase, circa 1910, signed C. Greber (Charles Greber, active in Beauvais, France, from 1899 to 1933), and marked "France". The vase is 4" high and 5 1/2" wide. Excellent condition.

Extremely rare Haviland double vase, circa 1870, with Barbizon style paintings on both sides, signed with artist's cipher under glaze and with paper label. The artist's monogram is for Emile-Justin Merlot (1839-1900), one of the artists sponsored by C.E. Haviland in his artist's studio to experiment with painting on ceramic.
