Exceptional French art pottery vase, circa 1920s, made at Sainte-Radegonde near Tours where was located a ceramic workshop producing wares to be sold by Le Printemps--Longwy and Ceramique d'Art de Bordeaux also produced wares for Le Printemps, marked with their "Primavera" logo. Beautiful hand-thrown French art deco vase by G. Jaegle , circa 1920s, offered in perfect condition. This vase with its Persian blue crackled glaze brings to mind the work of Raoul Lachenal, with whom Jaegle worked for a while. Approximately 5" tall by 5" across. Signed "G. Jaegle" and numbered 113.
Large magnificent Art Deco vase, France, circa 1920, in excellent original condition, with an overall stylized design of birds (peacocks?) in a tree. This vase measures 29cms in height and 19cms across. It is marked Mougin Nancy, 263 J, and also Conde dc, for George Conde. A classic Art Deco design by one of the masters of the style.
