Very unusual Yomud Asmalyk, mid-nineteenth century, very fine weave, rare small size (30" x 15"), unique floral gul, complete and in fair condition (1" square showing foundation, easily repaired). For the collector of Turkoman weavings and trappings.
Antique (Last quarter of the nineteenth century) Balouch double prayer rug, measuring 33" by 63", complete with original selvedges and kilim ends. In fine condition except for the usual but mild oxydation of the browns which gives this rug a sculptured feel, and some restoration to the kilim ends. Definitely a rug for the Balouch collector.
Antique (last quarter of the 19th Century) Laver (Ravar) Kerman prayer mat (prayer designs in this type of rug are very rare). It measures 31" by 22". It is thin overall, with some knotheads showing, and rough ends and selvedges. It is still however very beautiful. For the collector of antique Persian prayer rugs.
Antique Kurdish bagface, dating from around 1890, featuring stylized birds and an extra panel. It is in nice condition, with full pile except from damage to the extra panel, which would merit restoration.
