Rare Moroccan (Morocco) wedding sash or belt, dating from the second half of the 19th Century, in excellent condition (end tassels missing). 6" by 64". Hand woven with silk, metal thread, and cotton. This type of sash is known to have been worn by Jewish brides over the ceremonial wedding dress. Rare and beautiful.
