Original etching (8" x 11") by William A. Eskey (CA/1891-1937), signed and titled in pencil, and signed in the plate. Excellent unframed condition. The etching is circa 1930. Cf: Hughes, for information on Eskey, whose etchings are in the collection of the Museum of Fine Art in San Francisco. Other etchings by Eskey are also available, including "Pacoima canyon".

"Quelques aventures de Maitre Renard" is a book illustrated by 14 original copper engravings by Joseph Hecht (Polish/French/1891-1951). The work, published by "La jeune gravure contemporaine" dates from 1950 and is probably Hecht's last completed work. She is the daughter of Colonel C. Original oil on board (24" x 30") by Genevieve (Genevieve Pezet, born 1918, American born but living since the end of World War II in France). This cityscape dates from the 50's, is signed L.R., and is in excellent original condition. Genevieve is known for her sculptures (cf: Dictionary of Modern Sculpture, Tudor Publishing) as well as her paintings, and just had a show at the Galerie Etienne de Causans in Paris.
