This painting measures roughly 18" by 22" (canvas alone) and 25" by 29" in its frame. Original oil on board (24" x 30") by Genevieve (Genevieve Pezet, born 1918, American born but living since the end of World War II in France). This cityscape dates from the 50's, is signed L.R., and is in excellent original condition. Genevieve is known for her sculptures (cf: Dictionary of Modern Sculpture, Tudor Publishing) as well as her paintings, and just had a show at the Galerie Etienne de Causans in Paris.
