Inscribed, signed, and dated verso: "Scena d'Amore Affresco Della Casa Romana De La Farnesina--Pierre Carron--1964". 9" by 14" work alone, 14" by 19" in its frame. This work dates from the end of Carron's residency at the Villa Medici (1961-1964) in Rome, where he met Balthus who directed the establishment.
