Original watercolor painting by Ruth Forrest (American, 1919-1994). This painting is currently unframed. It measures 22" by 14" and is in excellent original condition. Bears the estate stamp recto and verso. Ruth Forrest graduated from the Rhode Island School of design in the fourties. She exhibited widely her woodcuts, wood engravings, and linocuts in the fourties and fifties. She is listed in Who Was Who in American Art, Artprice, etc.

Original watercolor and gouache by Benjamin Kopman (Russian born American, 1887-1965) depicting a lonely woman walking on a village road. This painting is signed l.l. "Kopman". It measures 11" by 13" (painting alone) and is offered framed and in very good condition (circa 1930 to 40). Ben Kopman is an important Russian-born American artist, listed in all the usual databases and reference works. One of two works by this artist currently offered on this site.
