Antique original lithograph of a standing nude by Julius John Pommer (American, 1895-1945). This wonderful nude dates from the thirties. It is dedicated l.l. and pencil signed l.r. Offered framed. Pommer was born in San Francisco and studied at the CSFA under Otis Oldfield. He was active in the Federal Arts Project in the thirties. Well listed (cf. Askart, Edan Hughes "Artists in California", etc.

This painting in excellent original condition measures 29" by 23" including the frame. Sulkowski is known for having studied the techniques of the great masters of the past centuries, and this painting is a great example of his mastery of classical concepts. Signed l.r. James M.
