Complete pair of antique Khorjin, or saddlebags, from Western Anatolia (from the Bergama area), nineteenth century, with original leather trim and closures, in very good condition, all natural dyes. The bags measure 16" by 42". They have a very finely woven flat-weave striped back. The leather is in fair condition but starting to show its age. For the discerning collector of Oriental animal trappings, or simply for all lovers of Oriental rugs and textiles.

Original oil painting on canvas by David Day (Seattle-dates unknown). This painting in excellent original condition measures 24" by 30" (32" by 38" in its original frame. It is signed "David Day" lower right and dates from the late fourties. Day was a student of Lorser Feitelson in California in the fourties. We have currently another painting by this artist, and from the same period.
