| Original ceramic sculpture by Tina Rabner (American, New York, 1913-1994). This work depicts two young girls at play. It measures approximately 14" by 12" by 6". In overall excellent condition. Matte finish with polychrome highlights. Signed (incised signature on the base) "Tina Rabner". Circa 1945. Tina Rabner was an entrant in the Robineau Memorial/National Ceramic Exhibitions in Syracuse in 1940, 1946, and 1948 (cf. Art Pottery of the United States by Paul Evans, p.428). She is also listed as a WPA artist in New York. | |
