| Original watercolor by Robert Lohman (American, 1919-2001). 15" by 9". Initialed and dated (74) l.l. Also titled "The Golden Man of the Pre-ancient Past" l.c. Offered in excellent condition. From the estate of the artist. Robert Lohman is known as a sculptor and painter. He studied at the John Herron Art Institute, at Cranbrook under Carl Milles, and at Yale. He was director of Fine Arts at Cranbrook between 1947 and 1949. He is well listed, exhibited, and collected. | |
