| Original hand-colored lithograph (watercolor), circa 1940s, by Umberto Romano (American, 1905-1984). This lithograph measures roughly 9" by 14". It was issued by Associated American Artists (AAA) and is offered in excellent never framed condition. It is pencil-signed l.r. by the artist and also signed in the plate. Traditionally titled "Frightened horses", or "Two men, two horses". Probably issued hand-watercolored as a private commission in a very limited edition (size unknown). One of a small group of rare hand-colored AAA lithographs currently offered on this site. | |
