| Original watercolor on paper by Lewis Suzuki (American, California, born 1920). This work, like its companion, is untitled. It is in perfect condition (unframed) and dates from circa 1960. 15" by 20". Signed l.r. "L. Suzuki", and with the artist's chop. Lewis Suzuki is an important Bay Area artist of Japanese descent, and a prominent member of the California Watercolor Movement. He was born in LA and studied in Japan, New York, and LA (Otis Art Institute). Since the fifties he has made the Bay Area his home. Well exhibited, listed, and collected. | |
