| Large original pastel on canvas by Socrates Perakis (American, Pennsylvania, 20th Century). This painting is signed "Perakis" and dated "65" upper left. It measures 31" by 38" in its original gallery frame. Offered in excellent condition. Provenance: from the Socrates Perakis in Philadelphia. Perakis is known both as an artist, and as a gallery owner in Philadelphia who gave solo shows to artists like John Formicola, Joseph Amarotico, Johnny Aiello, Elizabeth Osborne, etc. He studied at PAFA.
