Wonderful Cantagalli winged lion, covered in a turquoise glaze and having a black glazed base, made circa 1900. The winged lion measures approximately 14 cm high and has the Cantagalli mark to the base. The photographs show the lion from all sides. It has a small chip to the top of the left ear, a glaze chip to the left front leg and there are two chips to the black glazed base, please see photographs. Each is hand painted with a different flower and its foliage and with gilt Aesthetic Movement borders. They measure approximately 14 cm in diameter and are 2.5 cm deep.
