Wonderful detailed ivory carving of a young child sitting upon an 18th century oak joint stool. I love the detail of the carving, the folds in the clothes, wrist bracelet, hair and even the stool’s front leg joint coming apart. This carving is apparently unsigned but is of the very best quality. It measures approximately 11 cm high including the attached rosewood base. The condition is excellent with only one crack to one of the stools side stretchers. There are no other faults or any repairs. I ...click for details
