Set of ten Victorian J. H. Barratt & Co. of Stoke-on-Trent tiles moulded with cyclamen plants made circa 1900. The tile backs with J. H. Barratt marks. Each tile measures approximately 15cm / 6 inches square. Set’s of ten are rare and are perfect for fire place surrounds or washstand. All are in good condition with only few minor nibbles to the edges. Please see colour plate X of the book ‘Collecting Victorian Tiles’ by Terence A. Lockett for another example of this tile.

English Arts and Crafts copper vase by John Williams circa 1900. The twin handled vase is repousse decorated with large artichokes and their leaves. It measures 28 cm high. The condition is good with only only small split to one handle and the usual minor knocks and dents, please see last photograph where I have indicated the split with an arrow. Please see page 16 of the book ‘Newlyn Copper’ by Daryl Bennett and Colin Pill for an example of a John Williams vase of the same form.

Art Nouveau pottery vase with four slender vertical fins covered in a beautiful iridescent glaze of various colours possibly made by Zsolnay circa 1900. The vase measures 20.5 cm high and appears to be unmarked but this is very difficult to see with thick glaze to the base. The photographs show the vase from all sides. The condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. The thick glaze on the base has been ground, this was done when the vase was first made. We are happy to ship worldwide. ...click for details

Scottish Arts and Crafts linen covered box with ‘Glasgow School of Art’ silk embroidered lid, made circa 1910. The box measures 14.5 cm square and is 6 cm high. The box is constructed in wood, cardboard and paper, which is then covered in linen. The lid is ingenious with a sliding panel, which allows access to the embroidered panel, please see last three photographs. The photographs show the box from all sides.
