Stylish Westerwald stoneware jug designed by Peter Behrens and made by Simon Gerz circa 1910. The jug measures 25 cm high and has the stamped Simon Gerz mark to the base. Stylish Rosenthal large oval tray modelled to one end with a marabou bird, made circa 1910. The tray measures 27 cm at its widest and is 12.5 cm high. The base has the Rosenthal stamped mark. Large Richard Merkelbach Jugendstil stoneware vase designed by Richard Riemerschmid circa 1904. The top of the vase is decorated in relief with a continuous frieze of stylised roses and the body with three circular rose bushes. It measures 40cm high and the base has the impressed number 1797. The condition is excellent. Ref. page 25 and 96 of ‘Die Neue Ara’ by Erlebach and Schimanski. Price on request.
