| Beautiful English Art Nouveau tile by Godwin and Hewitt, decorated with a large stylised spade shaped flower, made circa 1905. The tile measures approximately 6 inch square and has the typical Godwin and Hewitt back with the registration number ‘450155’ for 1905. The photographs show the tile from both sides. The tile is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or any restoration. Please see page 68, fig 482 and 485 of the excellent book ‘Art Nouveau Tiles with Style’ by Robert Smith where examples of this tile can be seen.
