Chinese carved wooden rice basket with wrought iron edges. Chinese characters incised on sides. Worn. Sometimes used to pay taxes. about 9 inches high. About 12 1/2 inches across sides on top.
18-19th century Very large wooden head of Quan Yin on separate stand. Traces of old polychrome colors. Buddha figure carved on crown. Minimal old damage. Back of head hollowed out as a receptacle to receive votive offerings. Head is 22 inches high.
