Japanese celadon plate with enameled floral decoration. Red Japanese characters mark on verso. 19th century. One 2mm round glaze mark (holiday) on front center which occurred in the making. 8 1/2 inches in diameter.
Japanese baluster red Kutani vase with a scene of a Bijin and an attendant in a garden landscape with flowers decoration on the reverse side. The small cracks at the rim of the base appear to be in the making. The mark on the base is believed to indicate where it was made rather than the maker. 19th century.
