Very rare Chinese hand cannon. The first hand held firearm. Origin in China or mid-East. Made of iron with wooden pole handle (now cut partly off). Gun size is about 7 1/4 inches. No mark. 8 shot holes with separate touch holes for firing. Was held by one soldier on long wooden pole while assistant gunner lit touch holes. Could penetrate armor. Circa 1500.
