Japanese miniature lacquer tray with Makie (gold) decoration and diffuse gold dust in lacquer. No mark. Some wear on surface. 5 X 3 1/8 inches. Note blue reflection at edge of tray is from overhead light.
Very attractive set of 4 20th century replica miniature canopic jars with figural tops of gods. Originals were used to store the organs of mummies. "Duamutef", seen here was used for the stomach. 7 inches tall. The set includes items 4341 through 4344.
