Very large Chinese rice basket used by farmers to pay taxes. Made of Elm and wrought iron fittings, a handle through the middle top with Chinese characters on one side. Circa 18th-19th century. About 9 1/2 inches high with a 12X12 opening in the top.
Rare Chinese 3 piece altar set consisting of 2 wood and metal pricket candlesticks and an incense burner of bronze. 17th-18th century. Candle Sticks are 14 1/2 inches high and the incense burner is 15 1/2 inches high. One of the candle sticks has 4 Chinese characters on the bottom of the base.
