Japanese black and gold leaf lacquer box. Meiji period, 19th century. 6 children playing, holding flags, drums, hobby horse, symbol and kite on the top. On the sides of the box are musical instruments, bow and arrows, fan, hat, cymbols and flag. Good condition, with a few minor knicks. 5" height, 10" length.

Rosewood Chinese Etagere. From top to bottom is a carved and pierced pediment with bird and cherry blossom motif. 12 shelves with cherry blossoms carved between each shelf. There is a carved apron of scroll motif and claw and ball feet. The sides are pierced with fruit and vegatable motif. 19th century. 45" height, 27.5" width, 11.25" depth.
