Decorative ceramic clock case, designed/sculpted by well listed Austrian born artist Anton Puchegger (1878-1917 *or* 1890-1917, depending on reference cited). We believe this piece dates to around 1910 (+/-). Puchegger worked for firms such as Meissen, Nymphenburg and KPM. His animal figurines are exquisitely rendered with a high degree of skill, creating lifelike versions that also possess a stylized/stylish edge.
