Fine art pottery vessel we believe to have been made by British artist Anne James, likely dating to the 1970s. This piece is skillfully crafted with an organic pod form that appears to be inspired by natural forms. The glazing is subtle yet spectacular with a blend of earthy mottled greens and charcoaling. Size/Condition: Measures about 4" tall. In very good condition with minor handling wear, no chips or cracks. Incise marked to the foot as seen in the photo, undated.
