The large, expansive form is exquisitely hand carved on the exterior with fabulous irises and foliage glazed in softer tones that contrast well against the heavier moss green and lichen drips and runs from the top edge, and the stark, uncolored lower portion. Spectacular traditional stone sculpture carved by an Inuit eskimo artisan that likely dates to the early 1960s. This piece features an eskimo man carrying a recently hunted seal.
