| Fine example of mid-century pottery designed by Carl Harry Stalhane for Rorstrand of Sweden, dating to the 1950s. Classically modernist in aesthetic, this vase features an understated, very chic corseted form with dramatic angles and proportions. The finish is a quintessential matte earthy haresfur type glaze of a deep chocolate/charcoal coloration with subtle variations. Size/Condition: Measures a shade over 10" tall, 4.25" wide. In excellent condition with minor production flaws (wee glaze pinholes, tiny voids on foot ring), no chips or cracks. Incise signed through the glaze of the foot, undated. | ||
