| Expressive set of 1940s Inca portrait bust carvings by noted Mexican artist Flores Arias. These carvings are exceptional...exquisitely carved with considerable skill and talent, rendering the faces on both busts with impressive detailing. The deep and rich colored wood appears to mahogany. Size/Condition: The heads measure about 9.75" & 10" tall without the stands. In good vintage condition with making flaws, some thin checks to each, a nick to the headress (see highlighted area), subtle nose scuff on the headress one. Each is a bit loose on their stands and both have vintage dust, some handling wear. The headress one is incise marked "Arias" to the neck, the other not, neither are dated. | ||
