| Rare and Original Seymour Dining Table Circa 1810-1815.The almost identical table is featured in Robert Mussey's book The Furniture Masterworks of John and Thomas Seymour,Catalogue Entry 98 on page 330.This table and the card table I have offered look like they belong together.Old if not original finish! Same construction details as catalog entry 98.The best casters I have ever seen. It even has the chisel stab mark V on an end rail.Two Swing Legs on each Side and two fixed legs.The fixed legs have double bridle joints rarely used in Boston furniture but found on two card tables that are labeled by John and Thomas Seymour 15 years earlier.Many More Photo's are available upon request. | ||
