Beautifully painted around the exterior sides in detailled bright enamels depicting
stemmed lotus flowers and green fleshy leaves,all above a swirling sea of water on a footed base bordered with a superb enameled blue keyfret design.The interior sides of the bowl are painted in underglaze blue,showing four lotus leaves radiating from six lotus flower heads and a central medallion.The six character mark&period of Xianfeng is marked on the base in red.

flowers growing among the rocks with buds&leaves on each branch and a bird flying above.The lid is not old and is not original to the jar.
