Hollow-molded in red pottery and standing square on two feet with its head facing downward as in a drinking position and with its tail feathers rising slightly. This superb tomb pottery duck shows her incised feather markings on both sides under a deep
amber glaze that has survived the centuries.

A superb small scholar's vase,Republic Period,
of baluster form and finely painted in iron red and overglaze&white enamels with five Ming-style horned dragons frolicing among the cloud-scrolls.The recessed base is painted with the four-character Qianlong reign mark in black on a gold-ground square,bordered in red. Condition:Excellent.
