Of cylindrical form with a waisted neck,a slightly convex lip and a recessed,flat,circular foot and footrim. This finely painted Chinese porcelain snuff bottle
shows a ferocious five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl on a dense ground of scrolling peonies.A border of formalized lingzhi heads encircle the neck. Condition:Excellent. Probably Yangzhou School and attributed to Li Junting. Of rounded rectangular form,finely carved through the brown overlay with one pair of birds perched in a blossoming prunus tree and the other pair flying around the tree,the verso shows a goat looking up under the prunus tree.The sides are carved with fixed ring handles.
Condition:Excellent. Circa:Qing Dynasty,1820-1850. Size:2 1/4"high.A beautiful Chinese
snuff bottle carved in brown overlay and worthy of your consideration.
