This beautiful small ivory box comes from the Chinese city of Shandong and was probably used by the Scholar for multiple purposes,it is of flattened circular form incised around the cover and bottom with two narrow circles,around the body and on the bottom are many Chinese characters that must of had a very personal meaning to its owner.
Circa:Qing Dynasty,18thC/19thC. Condition:
Perfect with some normal wear due to usage.

A finely painted and well potted late 19thC Chinese porcelain dragon bowl with two ferocious five-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl amongst the fire scrolls.The base with six character mark of Guangxu and of the period.
