A beautiful 19thC snuff bottle supported on a footed base of rectangular shape with faceted sides,the reserve-decorated in red lacquer with a lady and her maidservant in a bamboo garden shared with a crane,the reverse with a phoenix flying under the clouds into a floral setting against a black lacquer ground,a four character Qianlong mark on the base which I feel is spurious,and a matching top.
