A Fine Pair of 18thC Blue&White Kangxi Dishes
A superb pair of exceptional quality 18thC Chinese porcelain moulded dishes.Each plate has an interior foliated rim divided into two rows, each with twenty petal shaped floral sprays.The round shaped medalion shows the beautiful prunus tree in bloom with a pair of butterflies hovering nearby. The base has a double blue circle,a familar Kangxi mark,and is surrounded by twenty finely painted floral sprays. Condition: Excellent. Circa: Qing Dynasty,Kangxi Period (1662-1722) Size:5 3/8"DIA. A very fine addition for the astute collector of 18thC Kangxi porcelain.The quality of these dishes is outstanding.
