A Delicate Chinese Miniature Porcelain Vase
A superb small scholar's vase,Republic Period, of baluster form and finely painted in iron red and overglaze&white enamels with five Ming-style horned dragons frolicing among the cloud-scrolls.The recessed base is painted with the four-character Qianlong reign mark in black on a gold-ground square,bordered in red. Condition:Excellent. Circa:Early Republic Period(1912-1949) Size:3 1/4"H. A very collectable small Chinese porcelain vase probably found on the scholar's table.
