| A rare and beautifully shaped large Chinese snuff bottle of cylindrical form with a short waisted neck,wide mouth,sloping shoulders,convex lip & a recessed circular foot. Finely painted in underglaze-blue and red with the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac.The outstanding quality of this bottle shows the absolute control of the difficult pigments derived from copper & cobalt oxides. Condition: Excellent. Circa: Qing Dynasty,1851-1900. Size:4 1/2"H x 2"DIA. A really interesting snuff bottle rarely found in the marketplace. | ||||||||||
