| A very finely painted and well hollowed blue & white porcelain snuff bottle of cylindrical form, painted with a continuous courtyard scene of a Sage and his attendent being entertained by a group of musicians. Condition: Excellent(tiny flake on base as seen on photo enlargement#7) Circa: Qing Dynasty 1790-1840. Size: 7"H. The quality and details of the painting are well represented in this snuff bottle,where the control over the underglaze-blue is quite extraordinary.This is one of the finest quality painting I have had in my collection. | ||||||||||
