| Respected Chinese artist Wang Ziwu painted this wonderful portrait of Qi Baishi(1863-1957) and wrote this essay as a dedication to this fine and very talented artist who is recognized today as one of the most outstanding 20thC Chinese artist's.This hanging scroll,ink on paper,painting measures 52 1/4"x26"(132.7x66cm.)and is signed with a signature stamp and three additional seals of the artist.Condition:Excellent. Circa:1979. Wang Ziwu was born in 1936 in Xian,Shaanxi Province,he was graduated from the Xian Art Academy in 1963.He is a member of the China Painting Artist Association,Director of the Chinese Painting Research Institute and the Director of the Guangdong Painting Artist Association.He is also a National First Level Painting Artist and receives an allowance from the Chinese government. Mr.Wang presently lives in Shenzhen,Guangdong Province. A fantastic piece of art whose subject is a national treasure. | ||||||
