| An elegant cylindrical celadon teapot from the early 19thC with sloping shoulders,a short neck and a flat infitting disc-shaped lid on top of which sits a ball shaped knob. The strikingly beautiful loop handle and curved spout are both finely carved in the image&likeness of bamboo.The body of the teapot is encircled with three incised double rings.The inside of the neck,the bottom of the base and the lid are all unglazed as noted in the photo enlargements. The porcelain glaze has a soft greenish hue.
